The client signing this reservation contract for a specified duration may not, under any circumstances, claim any right to remain on the premises at the end of the stay.
Article 1 - Booking Conditions
The reservation becomes effective as soon as the client has sent to the owner either the total amount or, after agreement, a 50% deposit of the total amount of the stay. The balance must be paid 1 month before the start of the stay.
Failure to do so will result in the cancellation of the reservation.
A period of 8 days will be given to the client for payment by check.
Only once the payment is received will the reservation become final, and you will validate your full and complete agreement with these general conditions.
Article 2 - Cancellation by the Client
In case of booking more than 30 days before the stay, cancellation can occur up to 48 hours later without charges.
Cancellation BEFORE the stay:
If it occurs more than 30 days BEFORE the start of the stay: the payment or deposit will be fully refunded.
If the cancellation occurs +7 days before the start of the stay, only 50% of the total payment will be refunded.
In case of cancellation less than 7 days before the stay, no refund will be provided.
If the client does not show up by 7 pm on the scheduled day of arrival, this contract becomes null and the owner can make use of the rooms. Any early departure will be considered a cancellation, and the entire stay will be due and non-refundable.
Article 3 - Cancellation by the Owner
If, before the start of the stay, the owner has to cancel the reservation for a client, information will be immediately sent to the client by email (as long as we have the client's email address), phone message, and/or text.
The client, without prejudging any claims for damages possibly suffered, will be immediately and fully reimbursed of the amounts paid.
Article 4 - Rates and Tourist Tax
Conditions and rates are non-contractual and subject to change without notice.
Prices include breakfast.
Tourist tax is additional, it is a local tax that the client must pay to the owner who then fully remits it to the Public Treasury.
Article 5 - Arrival and Departure Times
Your room will be ready to welcome you from 4 pm until 7 pm.
To welcome our new guests in the best conditions, we thank you for vacating the room before 11 am on the day of your departure.
Article 6 - Use of the Premises
The client must respect the peaceful character of the premises and use them in accordance with their intended purpose.
The client undertakes to leave the rooms in perfect condition at the end of the stay, to systematically report and financially assume any damage for which they are responsible.
Attention is drawn to the fact that minors staying in the house are under the sole and entire responsibility of their parents or the persons having authority over them.
In case of forgotten items in the room after the stay, the items can be sent to the person concerned upon request and at their expense.
The owner will not accept any liability for loss, theft, and/or damage and/or injury caused to property and/or persons in the house, regardless of the cause.
Article 7 - Lifestyle and Use of the Premises
Smoking is not allowed inside the house and rooms. Non-compliance with this instruction may be considered a breach of the contract at the initiative of the owner.
Article 8 - Capacity
Access to the house is strictly reserved for La Musardine en Vexin's clientele.
The reservation is made for a specific number of people. If the number of clients exceeds this number, the owner may refuse additional clients.
This refusal can in no way be considered a modification or termination of the contract at the initiative of the owner, so in case of departure, no refund can be considered.
Similarly, if the number of people were to be lower, the amount of the stay would be adjusted.
Article 9 - Pets
We regret that we cannot accept pets.
In case of non-compliance with this clause by the client, the owner reserves the right to refuse the rental to the pet owner.
This refusal cannot in any case be considered a modification or termination of the contract at the initiative of the owner, so in case of the client's departure, no refund can be considered, and the total amount of the stay must be paid.
Article 10 - Accessibility of Services
The owner cannot guarantee the regularity of water and electricity services regardless of the duration of outages or malfunctions, as well as any sudden closure of the site caused by a force majeure independent of his will.
The owner therefore declines all responsibility, beyond his legal responsibility, for any deprivation or reduction of enjoyment not resulting from his actions.
His liability, beyond his legal responsibility, cannot be engaged in case of breakdown or unavailability of technical equipment if the malfunction and repairs were unpredictable.
Article 11 - Insurance
The client certifies being covered by "civil liability" insurance for himself and all accompanying persons.
